the camera actually stops recording when you cut the power after the file is done (2, 5, 10, or 15 minutes)
It says in the manual that it’s a safety feature.
I have the same exact camera. It records the next 5-15 minutes after you shut off the engine and then it stops recording.

you don’t have to stop the recording and turn off the camera manually

Is there a camera that I can buy that can multitask only have one charger inside the car. I use my GPS when I travel, and I would also like to record accidents in the front and back of the car.

@Techmoan – more than likely, those from other countries are finding your video(s) based on the video ‘title’ and/or the video ‘tags’…the more optimized the video title and tags are, the better job YouTube does in making sure it shows your video for relevant searches.
